Short Cat Puke and Hairball Stories Part 3

3/02 - on the shoulder
I just moved in w/my boyfriend, who has 2 cats; I have a dog. I woke up in the middle of the night last night to find that one of the cats had puked on my shoulder. That was the last night in bed for either me or the cats--we'll see what my guy decides. Nice to know I'm not alone.

4/02 - Martian Royalty
Ok..after reading these stories about your pukers, I have come to the conclusion that MY cat must have been Martian Royalty because she only puked in the presence of company. Usually right at their feet. And there was none of that 'hack,hack,hack ... then PUKE' thing either... her eyes would bulge and a split second later..TA-DAAAAA. (She never had Salmon ... she was a puker from day one, so I chose the kind of cat food I would be least likely to mind cleaning up off the floor ). I had a dog who loved eating cat puke, so for a few years I was relieved of the pleasure. The cat ate better food while I had the dog, too. We both miss that dog.

5/02 - No thanks?
This morning I was awakened by a familiar wretching noise. There was Spot, perched on the pillows above my husband's head ready to rip! Thinking surprisingly quickly I was able to cup my hands and catch it before it hit my hubbie's face. My thanks? He rolled over on me, jarring my hand and spilling cat puke all over me.

6/02 - A hairball eating cat!
I own a female white tabby cat that is five. and when she was 2 years old she always tryed to eat hairballs. whenever I was up for supper I could hear:CCCAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!! because my cat was choking on a hairball. one day when I was downstairs, I seen my cat trying to eat a hairball. she choked and then let the hairball out of her throat then right after that she puked all over my stereo!

7/02 - Burning Puke!
Once I had the pleasure of laying my head on a pillow only to smell something that turned out to be cat puke. It was all through my hair. And about a year ago I got new windows and since I have air conditioning I don't use the windows so I thought I'd better just give them a wipe down. There are 19 windows and every one had puke on the marble sills. Not only that, the sun had BONDED the puke to the sills and I had to go around and REHYDRATE the baked puke with a plant sprayer and I STILL had to use use a paint scraper to get it off.

Once I couldn't figure out what I smelled that was burning and as I got closer to the T.V. I saw that one of the cats puked on it and it ran down into the vents and was FRYING on those old glowing vacuum tubes.

7/02 - He swallowed it!
one time, i was sleeping all nice and sound with a purring little kitty on me. then next thing i knew, i woke up with a huge slimy amount of cat barf in my mouth! it was all chunky and wet and warm! i had to swallow it though because i had just woken up. then i followed in my cat's footsteps and barfed everywhere. the end

7/02 - Welcome to the Osbournes!
Our cat Strypur, is known for his hairballs. Not to mention when we step in them in the DARK at 4 a.m.! NOT a great feeling sensation between the TOES!!

One night after watching the Osbournes series about their dogs making a disaster onto their mansion floors- I had made a comment 'Look, you don't see our CATS making a mess do you?' -Right after the show ended, my husband and I tired as heck flipped back the covers to jump in our bed and THERE WAS A LARGE supply of black hairball and cat food!! I replied, 'Welcome to the Osbournes!!' -Looked like I spoke too soon!! -NOT to mention I had JUST finished washing all the bedding that same day!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Gotta love em!!

7/02 - Never too sick to throw up!
Just thought I'd let you know about my latest cat puke story!

My cat, Henry, has been very ill recently - mainly out the other end. He's quite good about going to his litter tray to do it, but unfortunately at the moment it is very liquid and tends to be projectile all over the wall!

But, yesterday morning, just after he had eaten his breakfast he jumped up onto the window sill and managed to throw up all over the window sill, down the back of our corner cupboard, all over the tv and video and down the back all over all the wires and leads!
